Who?

The Jean Perrin Cancer Center is one of 18 French Cancer Centers grouped within UNICANCER, the only French hospital network dedicated 100% to the fight against cancer.

It brings together 900 professionals and carries out a triple mission of public hospital service, care, research, and training. 33,000 cancer patients are treated each year for secondary and referral care.

The Jean Perrin Center conducts specialized cancer research in close collaboration with the UMR 1240 INSERM UCA IMOST.

Two multidisciplinary research areas are prioritized:

– The first concerns the discovery and clinical validation of biomarkers, mainly in women’s cancer and head and neck cancers.

– The objective of the second area is to develop new radiopharmaceuticals—from bench to patient’s bedside.

Research work is based on the TANYA platform (Advanced and/or Novel Tissue Analyses) and CIRMEN (phase I experimental radiopharmacy).

Why?

We joined Lyonbiopole in order to develop our projects in digital health and personalized medicine. We hope to gain greater visibility for our expertise and work, discover new opportunities for collaboration with companies in the AURA region, and receive support in our applications for calls for grants on the aforementioned topics.
