Coordinator of the Innovation Unit of the Clinical Research and Innovation Department of the Hospices Civils de Lyon
Laure HUOT is a pharmacist and holds a PhD in clinical research (Lyon, 2012). She is a Hospital Practitioner at the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) where she mainly works as a clinical research methodologist. Her activities and research focus on the evaluation of medical devices (MD) and technological innovations.
Laure HUOT coordinates the Innovation Unit of the Research and Innovation Department, a transversal structure whose mission is to supervise and support the introduction, evaluation and monitoring of innovative technologies at HCL, in particular MDs, at different stages of their clinical development. She also coordinates the Innovation Working Group of the Innovation and Research Commission of the Conference of General Directors of University Hospitals.
In addition, Laure HUOT is responsible for a team within the Clinical Research and Epidemiology Department of HCL, whose activities are the design and coordination of clinical studies carried out by HCL practitioners.
