Bruno Virieux is graduated from the engineering school Ecole Centrale de Lyon and from University of Lyon in Artificial Intelligence.
Expert in Machine Learning, he has started in 2001 his professional journey in medical imaging then in anesthesia & acute care at General Electric Healthcare.
Since 2013, he is focused on disruptive projects in healthcare fields.
Thus, he designed and launched successfully Artificial Insight, the first cloud platform for valuing Artificial Intelligence algorithms applied to radiology.
Bruno Virieux also collaborated in the development of PACIFIC project from French program, Structuring Project for Competitiveness, co-granted by Sanofi, Servier and BPI France and having as its theme the use of Artificial Intelligence technologies to fight against Heart Failure.
In 2019, with two partners, he created NewClin a platform for capturing and enhancing real life data using machine learning. With multiple applications, this digital phenotyping solution was selected by the European Space Agency for the CHIMS (Crew Health Integrated Management Systems) project which aims to monitor the health of astronauts within the international space station. He is Vice President of NewClin Inc.(USA).
