From 1994 to 1997, he led Genset’s (the main european genomics company at that time) bioinformatics team in setting up its high throughput sequencing facility and sequencing human Expressed Sequence Tags libraries.

In 1997, he joined bioMérieux R&D as bioinformatics head, where he led the contribution of Information Technology department to the development of a system for the diagnosis of infectious diseases (both bacteriology and virology) based on Affymetrix DNA chip technology, as well as biomarker discovery and technology evaluation activities.

In 2005, he joined the microbiology business unit to manage bioMérieux offering in information management solutions for clinical laboratories, notably the corporate solution for systems remote maintenance (ViLink).

From 2009 to 2012, he led bioMérieux biomathematics teams, in charge of statistical support of all some industrial operations and all R&D projects. Their contribution was particularly important for the development of Vitek-MS, the leading FDA cleared MALDI mass spectrometry bacterial identification system.
