Promega Corporation is unveiling the TarSeer™ BRETSA™ Target Engagement System, a live-cell platform for detecting ligand-protein interactions in intact cells using bioluminescence resonance energy transfer-based protein denaturation.
The technology enables drug discovery researchers to study target engagement for difficult or understudied proteins, including those that lack known chemical probes or well-defined binding pockets. The platform was unveiled at the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) International Conference in Boston, February 7-11, 2026.
