Eugénie Pessia is the European Innovation Project Manager at Lyonbiopole. Within the innovation team, she mainly supports members in structuring and setting up their research and innovation projects on a European scale.
Previously, Eugénie taught during her thesis (Licences 2&3), worked for two years in computer engineering, and then worked for five years as a consultant in innovation financing within a large consulting group (two-and-a-half years setting up European collaborative projects in biology and computer science and two-and-a-half years advising on CIR/CII/JEI in computer science).
Eugénie has a Master’s degree in Biosciences (ENS Lyon) and a PhD in bioinformatics and evolutionary genomics (Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1).
