Who ?

With nearly 200 000 people operated on yearly worldwide, corneal transplantation (keratoplasty) is the most frequent type of transplant. Currently, almost 50% of corneas are discarded due to non-optimal storage conditions. Cornealife is a company dedicated to improving corneal storage. It was created around a product licensed by a large french Pharma group that we will bring to CE-mark and commercialise in Europe and abroad. With our patented bioreactor, eye banks can sell 25% more corneas, contributing to relieving the world of cornea shortage.
