Strategy & Funding Programs Director
Olivier Szymkowiak is Strategy and Funding Programs Director at Lyonbiopole. His missions mainly cover strategic and financial support for innovative SMEs in the health sector. He also works with Lyonbiopole’s management on the evolution of the organisation’s economic model.
Olivier was previously a banker in Asia and Europe, an investor and an entrepreneur. He specialises in the health sector, and was Investment Director of the Lyon-based insurer Sham from 2005 to 2012, where he created a venture capital investment activity focused on the health sector.
Olivier has a degree from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Reims and holds an MBA (Northeastern University).
