Eric Soyer, 55 and the father of 4 daughters, is Deputy General Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the biotechnology company ERYTECH Pharma, and shares his time between the headquarters in Lyon and the development activities in the United States.
Eric Soyer started his career in the industry, as a controller in the MICHELIN group, at the French headquarters, in Nigeria and in the U.S., and then joined the Lyon-based insurance services group APRIL as Group CFO, then Deputy General Manager of APRIL Development. Eric Soyer then served as Chief Financial Officer for MEDICA France, a company operating nursing homes and post-care clinics. In 2006 he was back to Lyon as Chief Financial Officer of EDAP-TMS, a French medical device group, before joining ERYTECH Pharma in 2015.
Eric Soyer holds an Executive M.B.A. from the HEC Paris School of Management and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas, and graduated from the ESC Clermont School of Management (France).
