SAPPIENS is a clinical-stage biotech developing first-in-class disease-modifying therapies for Parkinson’s disease (PD) and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), two severe neurodegenerative diseases with significant unmet medical needs. ALS remains an orphan disease and is often associated with a life expectancy of only 3–5 years following symptom onset. Our lead candidate, CXS003, is an innovative, patented drug-candidate designed to simultaneously modulate 3 key drivers of neurodegeneration: oxidative stress, neuro-inflammation, and mitochondrial dysfunction.
