ENDOPLY

ENDOPLY SAS is a start-up French company, making a IIb Medical Device designed for an upper GI endoscopic use: it aims at narrowing the gastric inner space so as to create food restriction, following upon the paths of a procedure called « endo-sleeve » (e.g. Apollo System) which targets the obese population. It also competes with bariatric surgery, which entails a significant environmental footprint and complications; and it may be a valuable addition to current weight loss drugs (and vice-versa) for the heaviest patients. Our design allows upgrades that will robotize and simplify the general use of this method. IP (patent) accepted in France, filed in Europe and USA. A pilot series of 10 patients is scheduled in Sept 2024 in Prague, CE-mark (+ FDA) and sales are considered early 2026.
