JUNIOR RESEARCH TECHNICIAN

With strong growth ahead, within an international environment, the company is now looking for a Junior Research Technician.

Description:

As a Junior Research Technician at AUROBAC, you will actively participate in advancing research and development objectives in the domain of cell biology and in vitro culture and in compliance with hygiene and security rules.

You will contribute to the laboratory management in connection with the other team members to ensure the smooth running of the lab activities.

The Junior Research Technician will report to the Laboratory Manager and work closely with other lab members as well as with the scientific team in charge of R&D programs.

Missions:

• Carry out experiments by following protocols of in vitro models on cell lines and primary cultures

• Work as a team and coordinate with collaborators on experiments and use of equipment

• Make accurate records of experiments in laboratory notebooks

• Participate in the elaboration of protocols

• Plan the assays and prepare reagents and consumables needed for experiments

• Analyze basic data, summarize results

• Report on the progress of experiments, experimental results, and take an active part in project progress meetings

• Ensure the reliability, quality and traceability of experimental results

• Participate in the laboratory management:

✓ Monitor common stock and laboratory supply and request supplies when necessary

✓ Participate to lab logistics

• Comply with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Personal skills:

• Ability to identify and solve technical issues

• Thoroughness, organizational skills, team spirit

• Computer skills : Office suite, software for analysis and layout

• Ability to communicate (team meeting, group meeting)

• Ability to read/speak scientific English

Professional experience:

• <1 year with technical experience in a laboratory setting

• Familiar with standard techniques in Cell Biology

• +2/3 years university degree or equivalent in cell biology or biotechnology.
