AUROBAC THERAPEUTICS is a biopharmaceutical company founded in 2022 by three highly renowned life sciences innovation companies, Boehringer Ingelheim, Evotec and bioMérieux.
Dedicated to addressing high unmet medical needs associated with infections and their complications in acute hospital settings, amidst the growing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) epidemic, AUROBAC is advancing a robust pipeline of drug candidates.
With strong growth ahead, within an international environment, the company is now looking for a Business Development and Strategic Intelligence Intern for a 6-month period.
Missions:
• Participate to Scientific and Strategic Intelligence Activities
o Conduct comprehensive analyses of competitors’ activities, including research initiatives, market positioning, and product sales in order to inform strategic decision
o Present key outcomes of the Scientific and Strategic Intelligence work in cross-functional team meetings
• Support the Business Development Activities
o Identify and assess potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations
o Analyze epidemiological data, healthcare, regulatory, reimbursement landscapes, market trends, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making
o Prepare scientific, medical and business development conventions and events
o Actively contribute to the development of communication materials for the company
• Contribute to Public Fundraising Activities
o Search for and analyze public funding opportunities that could fit with AUROBAC’s portfolio of projects
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful submission of funding applications, working closely with the BD team
Personal skills:
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential
• Rigorous, with strong analytical and synthesis skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research-driven environment
Experience:
• Master 2 level with a scientific background (e.g., pharmacy, engineering, biology) and an interest in business
• Knowledge of the drug development and commercialization cycle is a valuable asset
