In February, Lyonbiopole was officially labeled for phase 4.0 of the competitiveness clusters.


Our guideline until 2022 will be based on 3 axes: moving from stimulation to acceleration; increasing the competence and visibility of the ecosystem's players we lead; anchoring territorial action to confirm a national and European position.

 Lyonbiopole, labeled for phase 4.0 of the competitiveness clusters!Following the evaluation by the State and local authorities of its proposal submitted in October 2018, Lyonbiopole, has been awarded the label for phase 4.0 of the competitiveness clusters for the 2019-2022 period. […]
 ARAB’HEALTH – UNITED ARAB EMIRATESAs part of its International Development Plan supported by the AuRA Region, Lyonbiopole set up a prospecting mission during Arab'Health trade fair. 3 companies (Evolutis, Signia Therapeutics and TMM Software) received financial support for logistics (travel, hotel) and for the organization of a personal schedule of appointment. They also had the opportunity to participate to the international trade fair dedicated to medical technologies that took place in Dubai (+4000 exhibitors, +160 countries represented). Furthermore, Lyonbiopole reinforced its network of institutional and industrial local partners.
 Nutrition-Health: A theme reinforced by Lyonbiopole for the past 2 yearsThe diversification of the cluster's actions in terms of themes was reflected in the participation in a panel discussion entitled "Health through Nutrition" at Sirha 2019: an opportunity to discuss the subject of food allergies and intolerances as well as the innovation and support paths for stakeholders in the field that the theme suggests.  Probiotics and Intestinal Microbiota DayLyonbiopole organized, at BIOASTER, the 2nd edition of its day dedicated to probiotics and intestinal microbiota. For this event, regional, national and international players in Health Nutrition were present. With nearly 100 participants, this day is in accordance with the dynamism boosted over the past two years by the cluster on this promising theme. This was an opportunity to review the significant actions carried out since the signing of the partnership with the European Centre for Nutrition for Health (CENS) in February 2017. […]
 Lyonbiopole's european alliances promoted on the occasion of the EU Industry DaysLyonbiopole was invited to the EU Industry Days, in Brussels, to share its experience in European cooperation and to promote the alliances built with its counterparts over the years, such as bioXclusters and MAGIA. On the occasion of the session organized by Lithuanian RDI Liaison Office, faced with an audience composed of 40 health clusters and representatives of the European Commission, the cluster has demonstrated the importance of its links in for the internationalization of SMEs in health.
 Boost your international development with LyonbiopoleThe last Partnering Lunch Break organized by Lyonbiopole brought together 21 participants at the CCI's "Place de l'Innovation". They have been briefed on the 11 international missions planned for 2019, as part of the International Development Plan for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It was also an opportunity for our partners, BusinessFrance and CCI to present for the first time, the Team France Export which brings together all the public actors of international support and simplifies the development of companies' careers.
 Lyonbiopole and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region visiting the NetherlandsLyonbiopole participated to the interregional mission "Four Motors for Europe" organized in the South of the Netherlands, in the presence of the Vice-President Delegate for Enterprise, Employment, Economic Development: Ms. Annabel André-Laurent. Thus, many visits were organized around the campus of Noord Brabant, Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Delft and Leiden. The European delegation composed by 60 representatives of clusters and companies, exchanged with major players, such as Philips, the Erasmus Medical Center, YES! Delft and Leiden Bio Science Park.
 Signing of the Employment and Training Objectives ContractLyonbiopole signed the Contract of Employment and Training Objectives for the health industries with representatives of the health industries and regional government partners. […]
