While finalizing its strategic roadmap 4.0, Lyonbiopole has deployed since September, a wide range of activities for its members: H2020 Health Information Day, Skin Aging Day, Medtech SME Day on supporting tools and the new European regulation, Meeting of MAGIA alliance with the Belgian Medtech companies, etc.

Cluster's life

 Medtech SME Day on supporting tools and the new European regulationLyonbiopole, the SNITEM and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region organized a day for medical devices SMEs. This event brought together 60 participants to discuss the current context of the medical device market and the impact of the new European regulation on their business model. A presentation of regional aid schemes to support the economic and international growth of SMEs was done.
 Back to the H2020 Health programme Info Day organized in LyonCo-organized by Lyonbiopole, the "Hospices Civils de Lyon" and the University Claude Bernard of Lyon, the H2020 Health Info day brought together nearly 90 participants from SMEs and large groups, researchers and clinicians. Thanks to the presentations made by the National Health Contact Points (NCPs), the participants discovered the H2020 health program's lines 2019 as well as IMI calls. In the afternoon, 25 face-to-face meetings were organized with Health NCP. Lyonbiopole invites you to participate in the “Ambition Europe” day on October 23, 2018, co-organized with regional clusters and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Entreprises agency. [...]
 MAGIA alliance meets Belgian wit medtech SMEs The four European alliance’s partners have organised their last cluster visit at Biowin’s premises in Wallonia, on September 17 and 18. After the visits of Lyonbiopole, Life Science Nord and BioPmed ecosystems led in the 9 last months, the partners finalized their programme in Wallonia to meet with Biowin’s SME members developing medtech products. At this occasion they exchanged with 5 SMEs and learnt more about their internationalisation needs and ambition in particular on the US and Chinese markets.
 Skin Aging DaySince 2016, Lyonbiopole and the European Center for Dermocosmetology have led the "AURA Skin Biology Network" initiative to unite the regional forces of cutaneous biology. A day focused on skin aging was organized with more than 120 participants. This national event brought together academic researchers, clinicians, innovative SMEs and many large French dermocosmetic groups to share the latest advances in this field. The interventions highlighted innovations to study the mechanisms of aging, follow its normal, premature or pathological evolution and develop new therapeutic or dermocosmetic solutions.
