10/07/2015 - Save the date, Partnering Days 2015

The 9th edition of the Partnering Days will took place in October 7th, 2015, at the Hôtel de Ville (Lyon). The objectif of the event, organised by Lyonbiopole, is to create R&D partnerships in the health sector between public and private actors in Rhône-Alpes.

04/15-16/2015 - BIOVISION 2015 : a very good vintage for Lyonbiopole's members!

BIOVISION, the World Life Sciences Forum, ended on April 16 th with the Catalyzer and the Investor Conference prize awards, two milestones of the forum, organized in collaboration with the hub. 5 of the 6 prized awarded were given to regional companies, members of Lyonbiopole. Diabeloop has been given the Catalyzer prize, a special Catalyzer prize has been awarded to Cartimage and a special mention for Novadiscovery for its Noba-Hub project. For the Investor Conferene, the Biotech prize has been given to Alizé Pharma, Medtech prize to Fineheart. To finish, a special prize has been attributed to Kallistem. Next appointment on April, 2016 for the 11th BIOVISION edition.

04/14/2015 - A brief look at CASyM academic/industry workshop

The objective of the second CASyM academic/industry workshop was to enhance the emergence of collaborative projects in systems medicine. More than 20 participants came from all Europe (major companies, SME, clinicians, scientists) and participated in the afternoon brainstorming around the following subject “From clinical diagnose to systems based targeted therapies – Potential R&D collaborative projects”. The results will feed the CASyM roadmap. This workshop was also for them the opportunity to present their technological offers and ideas of  collaborative R&D projects on this theme.

04/08-09/2015 - Lyonbiopole partner of Medi'nov

The 3rd edition of Medi' Nov event held in Grenoble and gathered 155 companies : 80 contractors and 75 providers. 1 700 business meetings, 15 thematic conferences took place. Within the context of this event Minalogic and Lyonbiopôle gathered to organize a session of flash presentations of a technology or a product / service. ETHERA, VOXCAN, Cartimage Medical, Dexterité Surgical, members of Lyonbiopole and those from Minalogic- Chronocam, STIPlastics, Bespoon et Alpwise have completed the exercise in front of a panel of 40 companies. At the end of the session, Chronocam has received the Medi'nov "innovation prize" .

KALLISTEM 

Kallistem is a  Lyonbiopole member company which started its 1st fundraiser via Wiseed, a crowdfunding platform for the financing of start-ups. The goal is to raise funds for Kallistem therapeutic project: Artistem® . The project goal is to develop therapeutics solutions of cellular culture for the preservation and the restoration of male fertility. Everyone can participate through the platform.

05/26-27/2015 - A3P BioProduction International Congress

The association A3P organizes the 2015 Edition of the International Bioproduction Congress in Lausanne. The congress will be held on the Campus of the EPFL (SwissTech convention Center). The strategic stakes of pharmaceutical biomanufacturing will be discussed during the presentation. Accinov will attend the congress and will facilitate a workshop on manufacturing strategies for the production of clinical batches and on early phase of biological developments.

06/15-18/2015 - An important delegation of Rhône-Alpes companies at BIO

Thanks to the renewed support by the Rhône-Alpes region and the local community - Grand Lyon, Grenoble Alpes Métropole and the CCI of Lyon, Lyonbiopole accompanies a delegation of 21 members at this event with a financial support and a strengthened presence as a co-exhibitor on the Lyonbiopole stand within the France detached house. Furthermore, this year, Lyonbiopole offers its BIO + support services : 4 days on the East cost of the United-States to discover the rich variety of this ecosystem, to learn about the US market, to meet investors.

06/30-07/04 - SysBioMed 2015

The 10th CFGBC Symposium with ISBE and CASyM workshops will be a one day event attended by leading scientists from systems biology/medicine that are giving a joint effort inside ISBE and CASyM consortia to promote this new and exciting field in Europe and beyond. The symposium and workshops are free of admission, the 3 day event will consist of 5 tutorials on tutorial Systems Biology/Medicine. The tutorial is dedicated primarily to doctoral and post-doctoral students, medical doctors and other medical professionals. The number of participants is limited and up to two best candidates will be awarded with free registration (2 if more than 20 and 1 if more than 10 applications will be received respectively.)

The association Adebiotech organizes a seminar on proteins and peptides stability and formulation. The seminar will be held in Romainville, on September, the 24th and 25th. 03/2015 - H2020 Fast track to innovation 

The European Commission launches a new initiative Fast Track to Innovation (FTI) under H2020. It aims to give to innovative companies a final push before the access to market. The projects must focus on industrial development. Consortia should bring 3-5 organizations (mostly companies). All fields of technology are concerned. Several submission dates are planned in 2015 (09/01/2015 and 12/1/2015).

11/2012 - H2020 SME instrument

H2020 program includes the SME instrument. It targets the highly innovative SMEs with a strong ambition to develop, grow and internationalize;  focusing on the delivery of new products, services or processes on the market. For SMEs in the health sector, the SME instrument is focused on the PHC-12 Clinical research for the validation of biomarkers and diagnostic medical devices line. The project can be presented by a single SME, and different phases depending on the maturity of the project. Next submission deadline: Phase 1 & 2 projects = 06/17/2015. Lyonbiopole supports you to build up European projects.

11/2014 – Eurostars : call for projects open 

Eurostars call for projects is open. This funding programme is fully dedicated to innovative SMEs aiming to launch R&D projects closed to the market, that are collaborative and European (at least 2 partners from EU). The funding rate for projects goes from 30 to 40% (subsidy managed by BPI France). The submission deadline is fixed on 09/17/2015. Lyonbiopole supports you to build up European projects.

04/2015 - Call for Projects on antimicrobial resistance within the JPI AMR

The ANR joins the JPI AMR to launch a 2nd call for Transnational projects in the field of antimicrobial resistance. 9 countries are involved: Argentina, Belgium, France, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Poland and Sweden. The purpose of the call is to support research projects to fight against antimicrobial resistance, by boosting the use of antibiotics called "neglected" or "abandoned" (ND-AB) in combination with another antibiotic or a non-antibiotic molecule. Limit for pre-filing folders: May 12, 2015.
