The 7th edition of the Partnering Days will take place on October Friday 11th 2013 at the "Espace de l'Ouest Lyonnais" in Lyon. SMARTOX BIOTECHNOLOGY

Smartox Biotechnology, a company specialized in drug discovery from animal venoms, located in Saint Martin d'Heres (38) takes off after three years of incubation in Floralis, the technology transfer subsidiary of Joseph Fournier University of Grenoble. Its objective: to offer its expertise in evaluating the therapeutic potential of animal venoms and chemically reproduce the most interesting peptides. To date, the company has begun three research programs with partners to discover drugs against prostate cancer, leukemia and cystic fibrosis.

06/03 to 06/07/2013 - "Oncology and Immunology" collective trade mission on the East Coast of the United States

This mission will take place on June 3rd to 7th in Boston and brings together 11 French biotech companies, members of one of the 7 French health competitiveness clusters. The EDCA (European Diagnostic Cluster Alliance) unites its members for a board meeting, at the 5th Berlin-Brandenburg Technology Forum on In vitro diagnostics and bioanalysis, on June 5th and 6th. The EDCA, whose Lyonbiopole is member since 2011, aims to support the development of European players in in vitro diagnostics, in particular SMBs, by providing them information on regulatory aspects and promoting European cooperation.

Lyonbiopole invites its members to participate to this collective trade mission which will take place on September 9th to 13th, 2013 in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro regions. This mission is the result of a partnership between all French health competitiveness clusters. It is organized by UbiFrance and supported by DGCIS. The program will include visits to research institutes, biotech companies of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro regions and the participation in BioPartnering Latin America to be held in Rio.

3/2013 - Open FP7-PEOPLE Program (researchers mobility program call for project)

IEF (Intra-European Fellowships), IOF (International Outgoing Fellowships) and IIF (International Incoming Fellowships) calls for projects were published on March 14th, 2013. Their respectively budget being of € 134M, € 44,5M and € 44,5M, these calls will be closed on August 14th, 2013 at 5:00 pm. The PEOPLE program finances transnational mobility of researchers in academic laboratories and within companies. We remind you that under its PPTE program, Lyonbiopole assists you in setting up your European projects.

05/30/2013 - Lyonbiopole and its bioXclusters partners sign 2 cooperation agreements with 2 biotech parks in Shanghai

On the occasion of the mission in Shanghai of the European initiative bioXclusters, Lyonbiopole, with the support of the Rhône-Alpes region and in partnership with Erai China, accompanies 4 company members: Adocia, CTI Biotech, Fab'entech and Metabolys.
After an initial program in Beijing, the Rhône-Alpes delegation joined the European partners in Shanghai, representing a total delegation of 12 companies from Catalonia, Bavaria, Piedmont and Rhône-Alpes, attending the BioForum and SEBP (Sino-European Bio Partnering).
On this occasion, Lyonbiopole sign alongside its bioXclusters project partners, two cooperation agreements with the Zhangjiang Biotech Base and Juke Biotech Park.
