CEO, Cynbiose
Hugues Contamin, founder and CEO of Cynbiose (Marcy l’étoile) and Cynbiose Respiratory (Tours) companies.
Veterinary and PhD in Microbiology, he specialized in the study of infectious diseases at the Pasteur Institute, where for 15 years he worked as a researcher. He has also managed various experimental platforms such as the pet shop and primate breeding of the Institut Pasteur in French Guyana as well as the experimental animal laboratory of the BSL4 high security laboratory located in Lyon. After 3 years as head of the veterinary activity of a regulatory toxicology center, he created his own company.
Since 2008, Cynbiose has been offering academic and healthcare professionals research services based on an innovative approach of the use of the primate model.
In July 2017, he launched the activity of Cynbiose Respiratory dedicated to preclinical studies in the respiratory field in partnership with the Center for the Study of Respiratory Pathologies of Inserm Tours.
