The main objective of the joint Canada/France program is to strengthen biomedical research in Canada, Alsace and the Rhône-Alpes region by aligning the expertise and scientific resources. This collaborative program also provides an opportunity for organizations in the public and private sectors based in Canada, in Alsace and the Rhône-Alpes region to open up to new markets. This program is not intended to fund research on new drugs for specific therapeutic areas. It seeks to fund the development of next generation of innovative technologies with a strong and immediate impact on the process of discovering and developing new treatments.
The call for projects is open continuously of a duration of at least 2 years, 3 years maximum.
The Rhône-Alpes companies are eligible for financing BPI form of refundable advance (65 %).
