Isabelle Fugier - Director, Head of R&D French Networks & Initiatives at Sanofi Pasteur

Isabelle joined Sanofi Pasteur in 2006 where she held different positions linked to the Management of the R&D learning Strategy in a pharmaceutical company. On May 2014, she has been appointed to facilitate public private partnerships as the Head of the R&D French Networks & Initiatives at Sanofi Pasteur.

 

Isabelle began her scientific career with the Ecole Normale Supérieure, ENS de Lyon in 1992. She has performed research activities in public organization (ENS from 1992-1994, Institute of Cellular Therapeutics, ICT in Louisville, Kentucky, USA from 2001-2006) and in pharmaceutical industry ( Schering Plough at Dardilly, France from 1994-1997). She performed teaching activities at the ENS and at ICT as an Assistant Professor. She acquired biotech experience at Syntem, Nimes from 1998-2001 where she was in charge to implement project management and quality assurance.

 

She holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Aix-Marseille II in France. She has followed the I.F.C (Institut de   Formation des Cadres, Avignon, France) to be certified as a Quality assurance manager for 9000 ISO and Internal quality auditor (1997-1998).
