Emilie Roméo

Head of European Affairs

Emilie ROMEO joined Lyonbiopole's Economic and International Affairs Department in December 2010 as Business Manager. She is in charge of developing the cluster's "Europe" axis. This mission is divided into 2 parts: 1) supporting members in setting up European projects via a dedicated program, the HIPC; 2) positioning Lyonbiopole and its ecosystem in Europe (via its integration in European health cluster networks, its participation in large-scale European projects ...).

Emilie holds a Master's degree in European Governance from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble. She previously worked in a consulting firm specializing in territorial development and European programs. Among other things, she participated in the drafting of strategic program documents. She was also in charge of the training offer for French and EU public authorities on the setting up and monitoring of European projects. Then, within the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris and then within Adebag (Medicalps), she was in charge of various international projects. Emilie coordinated an Interreg project (European territorial cooperation) for two years, which aimed to strengthen the collaboration between eight biotech and medical technology clusters in the Alpine Space.
