Who are they ?

Inria is the French national research institute for digital science and technology. World-class research, technological innovation and entrepreneurial risk are its DNA. In 200 project teams, most of which are shared with major research universities, more than 3,500 researchers and engineers explore new paths, often in an interdisciplinary manner and in collaboration with industrial partners to meet ambitious challenges.
As a technological institute, Inria supports the diversity of innovation pathways: from open source software publishing to the creation of technological startups (Deeptech).

Why did you became a Lyonbiopole's member ?

"Opening a research center in Lyon in 2021 and already having many teams working on health issues in Lyon and Grenoble, it was natural to join Lyonbiopole. In Lyon, the digital and health axis will be at the heart of the development of this new center. This will be an opportunity, in Grenoble and Lyon, to identify subjects of common interest, for our researchers to respond to calls for projects and to collaborate with companies in the region to help them with their R&D issues. "

Stéphane Ubéda, Policy officer to the CEO of Inria for the creation of the Inria research center in Lyon
