Who are they ?

ScreenACT is a young start-up specializing in screening techniques using artificial intelligence to facilitate inclusion in clinical trials and accelerate therapeutic research programs.
We first developed a pre-screening web-application that integrates all clinical trials open to inclusion and whose research ontology is adapted to the main eligibility criteria of a patient. This tool aims to reduce inequalities in access to innovations for cancer patients by allowing physicians to identify clinical trials that are open and suitable for their patient in just a few clicks. This will allow us to help healthcare institutions and laboratories to optimize the performance of their clinical trials while ensuring more equal and broader access to innovation and new therapeutic strategies.
Basic clinical research also needs new concepts to accelerate the development of new drugs or new indications and we have developed original screening methods optimized by AI which will allow us to accelerate drug repurposing or to predict in silico the side effects of a developing molecule.

Why did you became a Lyonbiopole's member ?

"Lyonbiopole is the main health coordinator in the region, joining its network was obvious to us! We are convinced that this will allow us to more easily identify our future partners, develop our visibility within the region and access more quickly to European calls for projects in order to accelerate our growth."

Who are they ?

LiPiCS services offers services using fluorescent technology to analyze, capture and identify protein-protein interactions. Our technologies and know-how serve as bases for the realization of personalized scientific projects for private or public laboratories. LiPiCS services developed candidate or large scale, unbiased, approach with high reproducibility which allow sensitive comparative analysis. Such analysis may be performed to characterize the molecular effect of an effector (chemical or biological) on all protein partners of a target or to quantify the effect of effector on a known protein complex. More generally, LiPiCS services address protein-protein characterization for exploratory or pre-clinical research, by enhancing available tools.

Why did you became a Lyonbiopole's member ?

"Scientific and industrial collaboration is the basis of progress and excellence. LyonBiopôle provides a link between the various biotech players in the region and will allow LiPiCS services to anchor itself in the biotech environment more effectively."

MEDICAL INITIATIVES is a clinical research organization (CRO).

Its consultancy mission begins at the earliest discussions with its partners, even before any service is confirmed.

By taking part in the initial reflections in terms of regulatory, methodological, medical and public health strategy, MEDICAL INITIATIVES effectively adapts its service offer to the needs of its partners or directs them to more appropriate providers.

MEDICAL INITIATIVES is highly specialized in supporting medical device manufacturers from the first and decisive - stages of R&D (user needs, medical needs not covered by the market, cognitive exploration and contextual analysis, formative human factors studies and usability studies, etc.) up to validation phases prior to industrialization (summative human factors studies, clinical investigations, etc.).

Why did you became a Lyonbiopole's member

"Taking into account at all times the specificities of each of its employees, MEDICAL INITIATIVES 'partnership approach is particularly suited to supporting Start-ups and Medtechs.
By joining Lyonbiopôle, MEDICAL INITIATIVES intends to make its contribution to the enrichment of a territory already fertile for innovation, in particular by facilitating secure access to clinical investigation by all."

Who are they ?

CISTEN is a company built on a privileged partnership with the Laboratoire de Mécanique des Contacts et des Structures (LaMCoS). It consists of enhancing and promoting the transfer of knowledge from the world of research to industrial design offices and hospital structures. CISTEN's fields of study can be grouped into two main themes: the mechanics of living organisms and tribology, the science of lubrication, friction and wear. The activities cover the theoretical and practical aspects necessary for the resolution of industrial problems by experimental and numerical means. CISTEN offers a virtual mechanics approach, coupled with tribological and mechanical characterization tests to carry out numerical simulations using general or specific software, adapted to the particularities of each problem. The developments proposed concern both tribology and contact mechanics as well as the mechanics of living organisms, vascular and orthopedics.

Why did you became a Lyonbiopole's member ?

"With its digital skills in virtual reality and biomechanics, CISTEN now wishes to find support in the development of its innovative products in collaboration with the Civil Hospitals of Lyon. To carry out its projects, CISTEN is looking for knowledge in project development, R&D collaborations and support in regulatory affairs and quality."
