Neolys Diagnostics has developed an automated immunofluorescence reader for its RadioProfile™ test

3 months of full time closecollaboration between Neolys lab staff and engineers has led to a correlation coefficient of 0.97 between experts reading on standard immunofluorescence microscope and expert reading from the automated counting microscope via software.

"We are talking of 100 000 nucleus read and analysed via the 3 different methods to obtain such performance" precise Sandrine Pereira, head of Neolys Diagnostics Labs.

"Final validation cohort for regulatory purposes should be finished by May 2018. Nevertheless, Neolys Diagnostics is about to reduce by 20% the time required to perform RadioProfile™. Furthermore, having such a validated tool is key for repeatability and expansion to the different technical platform labs that will perform the test world wide" added Sandrine.
