KOELIS awarded World Innovation Contest prize

Grenoble, July 28th, 2017  – KOELIS (35 employees, 3,2M€ turnover in 2016), international company specialized in computer assisted targeted surgery based in Grenoble and Boston, has worked for 10 years with research partners on the personalized diagnosis of prostate cancer. After reaching technical, clinical and commercial success in the four continents, KOELIS expands its expertise in prostate care to develop a new ambition: to propose an approach that is personalized, safe, fast, predictable, repeatable and inexpensive to target the apex lesion. KOELIS believe in the value of the 3D image for guiding the needle under robotic control.

The ambitious project has been backed by BPI France. In the frame of the World Innovation Contest launched by the French public bank, KOELIS has been awarded with a 2 million euros prize for the launch of a multi-centric study that will allow the company to offer its own therapy solution worldwide.
