CALIXAR has developped a new innovative and patented technology for extraction of membrane proteins and antigens without denaturation. The technology is based on a multi-step extraction strategy and uses a specific serie of home-made non denaturing detergents.
CALIXAR offers its services to industries (pharma, biopharma, biotech) and academic teams which want to work on the right therapeutic or antigenic targets and which want to optimize and ensure the production of their target.
The technology can be applied from gene or from biological samples or line cells.
CALIXAR allows the production of high performance monoclonal/polyclonal antibodies, the development of high purity vaccines and reliable diagnostic tools, and the discovery of reliable leads by screening or better by drug design based on the 3D structure of membrane protein targets (more than 70% of the pharmaceutical market)
