Under the supervision of the University Lyon 1 and the CNRS, the Laboratory of Automatic Control, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering (LAGEPP) is a multidisciplinary laboratory that covers the fields of process engineering, automation, engineering products, pharmaceutical engineering and physicochemistry. The objective of the laboratory is to conduct cross-cutting research projects involving researchers from different disciplinary fields while ensuring the maintenance of high-level scientific work and experimentation in each disciplinary field. The research activities focus on two major scientific themes:

Physicochemical processes and processes in dispersed and evolving complex media (nanoparticle production process, crystallization, lyophilization).

Dynamic modeling, observation and control of processes.

The work covers fundamental aspects of understanding and modeling of phenomena up to the development of products in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, energy, food ...

Strategic Domain of Application: Biotech - Pharma, In vitro Diagnotics
