François Martin - Infectious Diseases Center Director

François Martin has been Director of Infrastructures at Lyonbiopole since 2007.

 

Between 1989 and 2007, François worked for bioMérieux. He was responsible for maintenance and infrastructure at the first bioMérieux R&D centre in molecular biology, in Lyon. Following that, he became manager of the infrastructure project for the Christophe Mérieux Center for Infectious Diseases. Finally, he was responsible for infrastructure and health, safety and the environment at the bioMérieux Christophe Mérieux Center, the R&D centre for molecular biology and microsystems in Grenoble.

 

Throughout this time, he acquired solid experience in the management, design and operation of P2 and P3 biosafety laboratories and molecular biology facilities in France and abroad, through bioMérieux and the Fondation Christophe et Rodolphe Mérieux.
